Piano with Columns

The sheer strength and massive construction of the instrument known as a grand piano has always evoked an architectural power that strengths are so great, it might need to be supported by powerful columns. In this painting, the instrument is floating lightly in the air supported not bys its legs, but by a set of columns. As a pianist, I do love painting pianos.
